         My Foundation is built on:

Ask, Allow…Encourage© is a method developed with the intent of building a like-language and consensual leadership.  Consensual leadership meaning an invitation to lead and an invitation to follow.  In a horse-human partnership the human creates the goal, so the human assumes the role of leadership.  To achieve the goal together, they must build a like-language.  The foundation of the like language is determined by the recipient of the communication, so in this case the human must learn to speak horse, specifically the vernacular of the horse worked with.

Horses need a few things from us to fully engage; emotional congruence or not hiding behind a mask, be 100% present, and be in relationship or connected.  When these three needs are met, the human becomes “safe” in survival terms and the horse will choose to engage and co-create both on the ground and in the saddle.

Does this sound intriguing?

What if you had this kind of experience with a teaching horse and then applied your embodied learning at home with your family or team?

The knowledge gained from experiences with horses comes from nature and her rhythm.  These lessons help us grow and become more authentic engaged leaders.

How about riding lessons and training?

Yes, I teach partnership focused riding and specialize in first time horse owners, and new again in the saddle, including training for your horse.  I prefer to work with you and your horse in your environment.

After five decades in the saddle and more horses ridden than I can possibly remember, including numerous students coached to success, I’m excited to bring my knowledge and experience to your arena in support of you and your horse!  I love horses and teaching and consider myself a student of the horse, learning new lessons every day.  I would be honored to support you!

My riding clients have the added benefit of two decades of me co-facilitating and teaching emotional agility, improved communication, and leadership skills in corporate settings. And my leadership and personal growth clients have the benefit of my life spent as a successful professional in the horse industry training, teaching, running my own business, managing, rebuilding boarding and training operations, and talent acquisition, retention and management.  All of these well-earned and valuable lessons are available to you.

Learning opportunities available online, in person, or in a hybrid format.  Online webinars are available providing all the content possible without a horse in the room.  In person workshops and private classes provide enhanced learning and experiences co-facilitated by me and a horse/horses where embodied learning becomes easily repeatable actions in daily life.  Mentorships available in 6- and 12-month commitments wherein we focus on desired learning and growth needs at an individualized pace. No horse experience needed, just a desire to learn with and from the horse.
